Gourds are my medium of choice for my art.  However, I love to dabble in many different mediums, (which is one of the reasons gourds appeal to me so much).  I also have a very strong sense of responsibility to our environment .  As a result I will create reclaimed pieces from time to time..........

In this day and age, so often we toss aside used or unwanted goods, allowing them to accumulate in storage rooms, junk yards and landfills.  How sad, when so many of these items could be re-used, "reclaimed" and put to good use.    All of the pieces featured in this section start with salvaged items that are then reworked, refinished, rebuilt, redesigned, whatever is needed to give new lives to the pieces, with beautiful results.
